Introduction
Rob grew up in the Boston area ,as a kid listening to 60’s AM radio of the Beatles, Beach Boys and Motown. Then his music world changed with album oriented music on FM and college radio stations and also Woodstock. Working in Boston at a young age he was able to experience many bands live. There was always somebody playing somewhere in the area. The Allman Brothers, Traffic, The Band, and Stevie Wonder all diverse and the opening acts were engaging too. Groups like Yes and Weather Report opened him up to new genres of music. After starting a family Rob worked third shift and discovered late night radio. WGBH radio shows like “Eric the Evening”, “Celtic Sojourn” and “ Folk Heritage” were what he always gravitated to. Between WMVY’s “Sunday morning and all that Jazz”, BBC Radio 2, WOMR, and now with the success of SCR, the possibilities for your listening pleasure and discovery are endless. The show Audio Adventures is a weekly compilation of different styles of music. Rock, Bluegrass, Indy, Jazz, Pop, Funk and even Movie Soundtracks. All this music being stitched together to fit perfectly into your Saturdays.
I hope you enjoy the ride!
